The deckled-edged cotton-rag paper is handmade sheet by sheet at the Amatruda paper mill, which has been producing paper since the 14th century. This paper is then hand-stitched and leather bound in Piacenza, Italy. The ornamentation on the front cover and spine are then meticulously hand-tooled, making each journal completely unique.
