A marble bust of William Shakespeare is sure to watch over your literary efforts with a kindly eye. Based on a 1860s sculpture by Raphael Monti.
"As [he] lived peerless
So [his] dead likeness, I do well believe,
Excels whatever yet you look'd upon
Or hand of man hath done."
This piece is made in Staffordshire using over 90% natural Carrara marble. Each copy is dry cast and then finished by hand, giving it both the look and feel of an original.
18 x 11.5 x 8.5 cm
This item has proved incredibly tricky to photograph against a white background - please see final image for an extreme close-up of the marble's actual colour and texture.
