A small and handsome plaster bust of the Roman Youth Head, also known as the Diadoumenos. The original, much larger, bronze head can be found in our very own Ashmolean Museum here in Oxford. The original was itself a copy after the Greek original by Polyclitus, an Ancient Greek sculptor active from 5th-4th Centuries BCE. The elegant and contemplative tilt of his head always makes us wonder - what is he thinking? A calm and reflective piece, perfect for bringing serenity to your desk.
